I have a friend with a 1g head, intake manifold, and throttle body off of a non turbo. I couldn't get a straight answer from my search, but is this the same as the turbo head/mani/tbody? I read the cooling passages are different on the head but I'm not sure. I'm more than likely getting all these parts for free so any info you guys can give me would be great. If you need any more info just let me know to post it. Thanks guys

not positive about the head and mani, but the TB will be able to fit. it's just that the TB has a "lip" on it. you need to make a custom connection to your stock UICP

The Head off of a Non Turbo 4g63 has a less agressive intake cam that needs to be replaced with a Turbo intake cam, but the exhaust cam is the same on both.

Ask your friend if it is a 2.0

If it is, the intake manifold is exactly the same. The head is the same except for the cams and the throttle body will work, but you might be better off trying to find a 1g turbo throttle body. On the N/T's the intake hose clamped right to the throttle body whereas on the turbo cars the UICP bolted to the throttle body. So like the other guy was sayin you will have to make a custom throttle body elbow that will clamp onto the throttle body and the rest of your UICP. Of course, if you could get it to work with the N/T throttle it will flow more than a stock 1g turbo throttle body because the N/T one is bigger.

is the NT throttle body actually bigger? i thought it was smaller. does anyone know the size difference?
