My car is a 96' the cas is on the cam gear. im putting in a motor from a 99' and the cas is on the other side. so what do i do to hook it up. the connections are different

It would be less headache for you to just put the cps from the 96 on the 99 head, and put the half moon in where the 99cas is.

I haven't looked it up in a long time, but I'm pretty sure the wires are inverted and the sensors are 90 degrees off of eachother. Something like that.

This was done to a locals car about a yr and half ago. The car ran, and that's about as positive as I can be about it.

Supposedly DSMLink has a feature to make this problem nonexistant...

what about just hard wiring it? take off the plugs and connect the wires. or is the 90deg. off thing going to screw me up.

when the 2g guys switch to a 6bolt isnt the CAS on the left side of the head. and if so what do you do about rewiring it?

I was told by roadrace engineering that the signal will be inverted and deal with it! what does that mean? how will it be inverted? its just a regular square signal. what can i do to fix it. besides the obvious head swap which i dont want to do.
PLease help
I need my car running.

Lol best of luck. Ever see one of those old cartoons when a guy is in a little ass car and its putting and farting smoke and going slow, then fast, slow, then fast all within a second of eachother and looks just rediculous? That's pretty much what it's like.

It'll get you to the store though. ;)

Just put the 96 shit on the 99 head.
