Sup guyz,
I posted a thread regarding my bad luck racing a SVT cobra, and my hood getting messed up. I kinda ghetto fixed the hood using bondo, tried to make it look like a design. :shhh: Due to shortage of cash. I'll prolly buy another cf hood soon, this is temporarily. People say it looks nice, I jus wanted an opinion from my fellow dsm'ers. So i took some pics last night. Let me know what you guyz think. Thanks..... Peace \\//

To read about the previous incident check out this old thread with pics.... OUCH

nice try on the hood fix...it looks pretty lined up..i'm not feelin' the primer on CF though
..i'm not feelin' the front bumper either..

Nice thread about the mustang and your hood though....great story...sorry that it happen though :thumb:

Those sensie, evo, or whatever they are called front ends are the nastiest I have seen besides the bomex. I love it man. I would go with a new hood for sure though, but that front is just sick. :thumb:

nice wheels, nice kit too... looks good with the foglights in there. oh and that deck is nice too. what model is it? hood don't look that bad...

just paint and it will look cool... It will look like u ment fot it to be that way.

Or you could get a vinyl design/mitsu diamonds and lay it in the center on the cf and then have it painted then peel the vinyl to show the cf... :thumb:

The primer on the hood is temporarily, to cover up my bondo job, it's gonna be painted with the car, and about the bumper, i was trying to find a stock 97-99, but when i couldn't i didn't wanna copy everyone with the blitz bumper, i haven't seen the sensei bumper on a eclipse in person, so i thought i'll give it a try, plus look at the fitting on the fmic, this is the only bumper that would fit my fmic perfect. I love the bumper now, guess i got used to it.....

I love everything but the Huge ass Tach on the dash. :thumb: Is it really necessary??

The tach actually came with the car, uninstalled. I was trying to sell it an buy a shiflight. After trying for about a month, i gave up got bored an jus decided to install it. I didn't pay for it an i never would. It's jus there for the shift light. I kinda like it now.

nice job... car looks gorgeous.. just paint it ! :p

btw, i thought you could remove the shift light from the tach? another idea would be tapping the wire that goes into the shift light, hide the tach, and wire the light bulb some where on your console. that way you only have the light :thumb:
