wondering if anyone has a carbon fiber hood that was painted candy or another color i was told it blends in with the car but when u get right up on it u can still see the weave

this car belonged to a friend of mine.

Ive seen people do that to there hoods.I saw it on a bmw in a car show movie.It looks hella tight.Right now its orginal until it becomes the new trend.The car looks orange in the sun.LOOKS HOT THOUGH!!

Do it! I don't see it very often but I love it. Besides, the clear that comes on the cf hoods is usually cheap. Go ahead and paint it and protect it.

that looks so bad ass! gives you the distinction of a CF hood but looks a lot cleaner

it doesn't look bad, but IMO, it looks like the hood got repainted and they did a horrible job matching colors.

since we all know it's CF, we understand the color difference. but if i saw someone driving down the road w/ that, i'd think they smashed their car and got a different colored hood.

up close & personal, i bet it's pretty nice though cuz you could still see the CF through the paint. just my opinion though, which usually doesn't count for much!
