If you even have to ask, why would you use it?

As soon as I see a true DSM shop use one over a true LSD I will invest, maybe.

I have that thing and it works pretty good. I havent broken it but I run street tires and it just lays posi strips now. However i have no torque steer

well it must help with traction then, i wonder how much it would handle on slicks, also how hard was it to install?

The install itself was simple. Removing the axles, supporting the engine, dropping/disassembling the tranny tends to be alot of work though. I've heard stories about how many people have had luck with the insert, I am not one of them. :(

Hey if your stuck with FWD It seems like a traction option to me if it works and doesn't break. I don't know how much it would improve traction at launch. Any comments?

i have the phantom grip locker in my fwd. on launch it helps alot, almost no wheel hop and i can launch my fwd at like 3500 and hardly spins with 225s mastercraft zhp tires. on a burn out which i never do intentionly but when i was testing how hard i could launch the car i tried at 4500 i left two marks side by side.

I talked to Mike Huml from a "true DSM shop", and he says he actually prefers the BM Tranny lsd to the Quaiffe. He is making 400 whp, I think that speaks enough for the product, well enough for me to have bought it anyways (don't have it installed yet though).
