When doing a 6 bolt swap using a later year 2g head, is there any reason you need a 1g CAS over the non adjustable CAS on the 2g head from the factory?

RossY said:yeah, i have the 6 bolt swap done on my car. Don't even think about trying that, the swap is hassle enough. O and i would invest in dsmlink unless you plan on pulling over every 30mins because of the misfire that is associated with the swap.

After about a few minutes, it went away. Never saw it again.
Not everyone gets it.
Oh and I never touched the TPS.
Yeah i also never had the RM code, or a CE for running no cat, i guess i have the don't give a crap ECURossY said:You're pretty lucky then. I do realize that not everyone gets it, but odds are more likely that he will. I know I had it, but then again, pretty much everything that could go wrong with my car has.
ItsStockOfficer said:There seems to be a failure to understand the question. 97+ cars have a factory cam angle sensor. I don't care about adjustability. I want to know if it uses a hall effect style output or something useful for replacing the crank angle sensor signal. I don't see why a 1g sensor would be better, adjustability aside.
