What kind of MPH in the 1/4 mile would you pull with either Stage II kit?

I got some great responses in my last post, which leads me to believe a Stage II turbo kit is a good investment as far as HP/$ goes. I say that because I have no intention of modding the motor anymore than that, and from what I understand all the stock components work just fine with either Stage II kit when kept as it comes from the factory.

I could really care less about ET times, because that has way to much to do with the suspension setup and the driver. The real number I want to know is what can I expect MPH wise in the 1/4 with either Stage II kit kept in stock form, with the only engine mod being a catback exhaust system?

Thanks

I was pulling about 92mph in the 1/4. Occasionally 93 but average was 92. This was stock and actually no catback ... but now that I have mods done Im still about where I was, still 92-93 range, but with less boost(playin it safe). Need my highflow cat!

Thanks for the reply. That is slower than I had expected. I was hoping to hear close to 100mph or even a bit over. Now I am very curious as to what these cars do without the turbo? 92MPH I'm sure is a big improvement over a stock non turbo car.

Did you by chance run it at the track before going turbo? What did MPH did you run?

Thanks again

Yep I ran 82-83 trap stock. All I had then was CAI. Best time before turbo was 16.7 at 83mph, after turbo best is 15.1 at 93mph. But like I said boost is down for now while I make the car more stable and then I will turn it back up. Only running 6-7 psi right now.

Peace!

I think a 10MPH improvement from stock and your boost not being turned all the way up is an awesome improvement. But you gave me some really good base line numbers and I think for me its not worth all that money to try and go turbo. I'll just keep it as is and have a really kick ass looking econo car.

I do have one more question for you though. I'm sure you now have to run premium gas instead of regular, is that right? Also how much did your avg. MPG go down when you switched over to turbo?

Thanks
