I was wondering if any knows of a shop that reprograms your ECU to eliminate the revlimit within the ecu or change it to a higher revlimit than the stock 6750?

I was told not to use jet by a couple of different people they sair that they never reprogrammed the ECu at all after they got it back....

SO if anyone knows of a shop or software that I can download onto my pad to reprogram this that would be $^F^$& awesome!!!!!

Why would you want to do this? I'm just curious...

well your fuel cut should be hittin at 7300 rpm.least thats when mine does,besides i don't think i want my little 420a to go over that with stock internals anyways,so unless your gonna race build your engine thank god for the fuel cut,it's called redline for a reason.

I've got the AFX/R ECU (might be an earlier model - got it used), and I pull all the way to 7800rpm, at which point the ECU goes all stutter box on me with the rev limiter. No fuel cut up to there (I know what it's like). This is a great mod whether all motor or turbo.

My mods:
*AFX/R ECU
*race ported head
*5 angle
*1mm oversized SS valves
*Crower springs/Titanium retainers
*PTC hydraulic lifters
*PTC rockers
*built bottom end at 10.5:1 CR

It's been like this about 2 days now. I hit 4000rpm and she pulls all the way to rev limiter like she used to pull from 2000-3000rpm. Sweetness.

I always though we didn't have a rev limiter but we would fuel cut at 7400rpms.

I have a rev limit could be the tranny tho

Does anyone know anything (not full standalone) that would work? (i know there isnt anything but give me a glimer of hope :laugh: )

do auto's ever hit rev limit? how could you get your tranny to shift higher if you have an auto?

It's 7500, and it's a fuel cutoff.

Also FOr the guy who asked why? Yes my motor is completely built bottom to top 10.5, eagle rods, wisc piston, GUDE performance head package, centerforce clutch and NX Express EFI Wet KIt 100 shot....

but really need this ECU if anyone has one..
