That's the blinker fluid reservoir.

Not really. It's just a silencer. It only comes on 95-96 and it doesn't really serve a purpose as far as anyone has figured out.

Yep a silencer because who wants to hear the turbo noise and stuff. That scares normal folks into thinking there car is broken

when i removed mine i could tell a little diffrence. The turbo seemed to have a little more umph. And not to mention it sounds a lot cooler without it.

Sweeeeeeeeet. So I can just take it off then, eh?? I'm guessing there's no performance gains in doing this, right?

I don't know, I picked up 43 AWHP when I removed mine?

:p

An Eagle executive's baby was frightened one time when a 1G made a sound. Consequently, 2Gs started with the intake in the fender, the absurd BOV recirc pipe doing a Lovelace down the throat of the intake, and this bizarre box on the LICP. Can't have any of those nasty engine noises frightening the retarded spawn of automotive executives.

Yanking it is harmless, but may also be pointless. It should have some effect in having less area of intake tract to pressurize with the turbo, but I have no idea if it's enough to matter.

Its like intentionally making the cars bad, but on the other hand, It makes the cars more appealing to those who want preformance improvmnents over stock without having to spend any money, not to mention its fun to mod and improve ourt cars.
