This light just illuminated on my dash, it's just to the right of the check engine light, it's gold in color and looks kinda like a radiator...I checked Vfaq and couldn't find a description does anyone know what it means?

Thanks in advance

Wierd, it does look like a radiator. I wonder if it is a coolant related light? *hint* *hint*

You have to go and get it reset.

Don't do it the irresponsible way and dissconnect your battery. Have somebody do it for you and get the code run.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Ive had the battery disconnected for other reasons than that(timeing belt& alternator replace) and it still didnt go off. Theres also no cel, pos a coolant level sensor of some sort gone bad?
:dsm:

ps. I have access to a snap-on scanner, is this necassary to shut off?

Its not as much thats its necessary as much as it is that this problem could reaccur and the light would be on so you wouldnt really notice it until its too late:thumb:

There's a good chance then that the sensor on the bottom of your resevoir is shot or disconnected if it continuously comes back on even with enough coolant in the resevoir. Take a look to see if its disconnected or it may be time for a new sensor.

Explain to me the rest of this dream you had. Especially the part about the desert island, and when the Swedish Girls Soccer Team arrived to rescue you.

It's a magnet switch. When you refill the reservoir, it will turn off. The battery and the Check Engine light have exactly nothing to do with it.

Thank you for taking us back to those halcyon days of 2004. :|
