Just as the title says, i'm removing the ac'ps belt tensioner and I know i have to get a shorter belt i just need to know which one it is specifically. I searched and I can not find the answer. Thamks for the help.

Update:

I just replaced both the accesory belts. I delted the tensioner and I am just using the power steering pump as the tensioner now. The new belt I am using is a gates micro-v at belt K050486 5pk1235 dimensions are 21/32 x 49 - 1/8 for those of you who wanted to know. I do a question though. How tight are both the belts supposed to be? Ive heard that you should be able to twist it 45 degrees and not any more. Is this right? Also at around 3-3.5 rpms everything starts vibrating really bad, could this be because one or both of the belts are to tight? thanks in advance.

I also found the correct belt, go to your local parts store and tell them you need the belt with part number 490K that is the belt you need to be able to delete tensioner and still keep the AC and Powersteering, it works perfectly.

I guess this is a proper thread to ask this, if I just want to use the PS on track days (so that I can drive the car there and back without loosing my arms) can I get the short belt that just runs the PS and not have any problems with it hitting the tensioner or AC?

Asking becuase It would be nice to have just the PS running on track days and just change the belt the next day and have my AC back

Just wondering why would you delete the tensioner? I ask this because I currently have problems with a 5 rib belt staying on I have to run a 4 rib belt and I am wondering if doing this will help because I think my tensioner is what is throwing the belt off.

yes, i know that, I meant why would you delete it without getting rid of your ac.
