hey guys.. just wanted to show u all some info i found out a few weeks ago. most of these companies are duping us. for example megan racing. their products are all made in china/taiwan. which means someone is makin a ton of money off of our stupidity. the coilovers megan is selling comes directly from china. here check this out for proof.

Your point? FYI, the Megan coilovers and the Apexi coilovers are made in the same factory. I happen to have the Megan coilovers and the quality is top notch... If you don't believe it, fly over to EvolutionM.net and do a search on the Megan coilovers...if the Evo guys love 'em, I think they'll suit our DSMs fine.

im not bashing the quality. im bashing the price. obviously since its a product from taiwan megan racing is marking them way up. im saying someone should knock out the middle man (megan racing) and sell these babies cheaper. thats all

erik what you are saying makes no sense. the coilovers are agreat product and offer more features and performance than a lot of other coilovers out there that cost a whole hell of a lot more.

Just because it is made in a country doesn't mean that the product is dirt cheap. quality creates the value of the product and these are as high a quality kit as we have seen when compared to other big brand name coilovers.

Taking a shot at another vendor (viz., SSA) - regardless of whether they only produce crap - is both uncool and beneath you.

As to the question of price, if you guys want to take this up a notch and discuss what has happened to the US$ during the reign of Bush II, that would be interesting, but just judging products on raw, uninterpreted price is silly. And it sure doesn't qualify for bandwidth in a technical forum.
