That's awesome, can you email ur dsmlink log to [email protected]?

What did your timing look like? Thanks.

I didnt save the logs from the dyno.
I am going to the track this thursday and I will have some logs I can email you then.

with numbers like that, it can't possibly be a daily driver. You're maxing out full potential of the turbo. i can't see that turbo lasting long..

Poor logic.

I'll be interested to see some logs and track numbers :). Best of luck to you. I assume you're doing this at BMP?

I've been running my car at the track with an Evo III 16G at crazy boost levels for 2 years, now. My car has also been my daily driver.

You don't run boost like that on the street with pump gas. This is track only stuff.

What kind of boost level were you running, Tom?

Very nice work. Get it to a track! :)

I plan on getting my car dynoed at Buschur's at the Shootout. We will see what it does. :)

It spikes hard to 32psi for about 500rpms then settles into 24psi.
I plan to put mine on the dyno at buschurs also.
Just like to see numbers at another awd mustang dyno.

I don't drive this car daily. It is my toy.
I take it out on the weekends and to the track from time to time.
I will post track numbers when I get back from the track this Thursday.

That is about what my car does, too.

Post some datalogs to the DSMLink forums. I'd love to see how they compare to mine!

Nice to see someone else doing the same thing as I am and bucking the 50 trim trend. ;)

What kind of airflow are you logging?
Do you have any logs posted on dsmlink forms from your 11.8 run.

"Poor logic."

No one mentioned that these were track cars. So, to me, it's not a poor logic. : :thumb:

Well, they're not track cars. The GVR4 is a weekend toy, which will be going to the track soon. ShapeGSX's car is a daily driver. Just because these cars make 400+ whp with 25+ psi spikes doesn't mean that they can't daily drive the cars. Some people have self-control over the throttle pedal, and some people turn down the boost a few psi.

In either case, they could be daily driven, but still capable of the power they put down at the dyno. :thumb:

You guys are going to cry when you read this. I went to the track last night and only got three runs in and mustered a wimpy 13.8 with a 60' of 2.1 . I was running 100 octane at 20 psi. First time running my car with the evo III and have yet to get push it consider I dont have the injectors, IC, nor the tunning equipment. Was still hoping to do better. I managed a 13.7 with a gooey stock turbo running 23psi so it is better just need to tune in a bit more and get the right parts to accompany it=D I hope to achieve 11.8 like Shape one day=D

Later,
Dan

No worries; just get her tuned and go back out. I'm only flowing 28 lb/min on mine, untuned. That's barely good for 13s with my driving ;)

I'm running 29-30 lbs/min and thats 18psi. How many psi are you doing to get 28?

Whats the translation of lbs/min vs. Hz reading? On my AFC I run up to 2600 hz at 20psi is the max I've seen.

With the new fmic setup, I'm now seeing 33 lb/min at 18 psi. Thats up about 2 from my old HRC smic. The cars going into storage for the winter but I think I'm going to pick up a set of cams over the winter. Hopefully with them and the boost turned up to 20 on the street I should be in the 36-38 range :thumb: .

I know this is an old thread, but I'm sure more people have got some new dyno pulls and didn't know/or forgot about this thread ;)

thats sad making less than 300hp on a evoIII 16g, i have seen some people make more than 300 using the 14b, ive seen upwards of 350-370 with the 14b i plan to make over 400 with mine.

Not with out nitrous you haven`t.

Going to Extreme Motorsports friday for dyno and tune. then heading to MIR sunday for Domestic vs Imports. Hoping to make 300awhp. 280-290 would make me happy though. Post results monday.

Here is one made last weekend on e-85 on a stock 1g engine minus cams, FMIC, and fuel mods.

I really want to know how close i am to this setup because this is one of the main reasons why i want to do e85 on my dsm
