Well, I was feeling creative, so I ordered a sheet of carbon fiber. This stuff is so easy to work with!

Basically, I took off my old scuff guards, ruffed them up, epoxied them to a sheet of cf, then cut them out. sanded down the edges to make it round, then i drilled a base hole and used a step bit to finish the job. Let me know what you think.

(oh yeah, the friggen rust on the pins is driving me nuts... gotta order new ones)

thats what i like... i mean, im all about performance, but your car can look good to you know. i just hate the way hood pins stand out. thanks for the comments.

I'm curious if it'll stand up to the pin rubbing on it very well. But, it looks really good.

I'm curious to find out as well. I think I might take them off and spray them down with a clear enamel just to add some protection, but i'm not sure yet. Thanks for the compliment.

They look real nice. The pin might scratch it off though

i dont think they will get scratched off... they might get kinda messed up from the pins, but what you gonna do? they are scuff gaurds. it is REAL carbon fiber on there, not a sticker.
