Well, I went up to Beyond Redline with the car for a final tuning session for the year. I only did 4 pulls, but that was all it really needed to put down some really serious power. This was all done on a DynoCom All-Wheel-Drive dynamometer; with a calculated drivetrain loss of 30% in 3rd gear with VP Import fuel.
The previous dyno numbers were on the exact same setup with less boost (36psi peak) -- 641AWHP/567TQ .
The new numbers below should be a new record for the 7-bolt 4G63 motor (non-evo). The final pull was done with a peak boost of 49psi at 5400rpms, dropping to around 42psi at7800rpms. We had to let off early on the last dyno pull at 6200rpms because the wideband O2 wire harness caught the tire and trashed the O2 sensor (that is why the AFR's show funny on the dyno pull). Either way, we already made both peak power and torque numbers prior to that.
All right...now to the fun!
Uncorrected SAE HP and torque numbers on the AWD dyno:
740AWHP at 6000rpms
696Tq at 5200rpms
Full boost at 5400rpms
Over 700AWHP from 5000rpms to 7600rpms
Over 600TQ from 4500rpms to 6200rpms.
-->~250tq at 4000rpms, 696tq at 5000rpms. Hits freakin Hard!
This power reflects 962 Horsepower, and 905 Torque at the CRANK of a little ole 4-banger!
I have attached some of the dyno numbers and graphs for you guys to see these stats. The full size dyno sheet is of the 2nd pull showing the power band and the extremely fast ramp of the turbo up to full boost.
I also have videos on miniDV that need to be edited -- I don't have any equipment to do so, so the dyno vids will be done sooner or later.
I need to mention some of the people that have supported me to get the car to this level also; Jake Hanhardt (topstreet), and Luke Stubbs of Beyond Redline Performance have given me solid advice, tuning experience and their first-hand knowledge that pushed the car from the 11's into the 9's in 1 year! Without them, it would have taken me alot longer to get there! THANK YOU!
I look forward to putting this power down at the track next year! Hopefully some mid/low 9's are in order!

Time to get your shit together so we can see.

Now you just need to find a way to host-n-post it up.
(I think they're actually supposed to represent the quote (") sign, also used for the inch indicator, but it just doesn't translate the way you intended it.)
