I guess when I initially started this thread, I kind of blew it out of proportion. But I was just pissed when I saw the site. Mostly what irritates me is that in the picture gallery, you can't even see most of the cars, cause the girls are in the way! Most of the pictures are just of the girl, I want to see the car, they have a list of the mods, but I can't see very much of the car. That's cool if they are in the picture, but stand to the side or something.

I just think they are more worried about looking good and being cool than they are about their car.

Right - thanks LaserDad. My ECU is modified, and I'm making my own boost controller. Also if you noted my wish list, an AFPR is in there.

Hopefully that answers your question girlieracr.

Ok well that makes since. :) Because I was wondering how you were getting the most out of your car and turbo with no way to control everything. Good luck with it. ;)

Well one of them has a DSM...

If that is what they want to do........who cares? :laser:

It's not all of them I think we have a problem with. It's just a lot of them :)
Like K said, the girls are standing in front of their cars and we can't see'em. I'd prefer if there were multiple pics as well so we can see how they were done up :)

Actually, there are more DSM's on there than you would expect..........and if you look at the end of the gallery, you will see the girls that do race, some are Jr. races, must be daughters of parents who race.

Nope, site is not techy like ours, but I don't think that is their objective.

I guess I kind of find it distasteful bashing another site, that is really not trying to or is, bashing us. ;)

I lik ethe Shedevilracers and the sweetiegirlracing :) I might just join those.

I do take back what I said about neons and the what not.. I guess it's better that you try to improve your car no matter what the situation. :) I just like the fact that stockwise, my talon kicks ass. :)

I figured I would add it, this is a picture of my daughter from a few years ago and she is helping with a friends car and coincidentally wearing a Girlie Girl T-shirt .

Sorry, I didn't realize I was breaking a rule. My bad, sorry mods!!!!

It just makes me mad, cause when someone checks out that site they probably assume that all girls are like that.

Thanks,
She is my everything. Ever since she could walk she was always out wanting to help me work on vehicles. She always amazes my friends when were out at one of the shops and they point to something and ask her what it is,"that is an intercooler", and what does in intercooler do, "it cools the turbos air", then they all OMG

Thats my baby! yea I'm a proud pappa

LOL seeing this thread i used to think my girl was a "girlieGirl" all show girl. lately shes been looking at new cars(she owns a corolla with pink floormats and wheel, and pink stuff everywhere) and she called me last night from the subaru dealer. she had just got done driving a new WRX and she wants it now. i am very proud it just hits me right here. i told her what we could do to it and she is so jazzed about getting one its crazy. she called me like 3 times today and said she wanted it and shes looking at all the wrx forums at shit "I" could put in her car to make it faster than mine.

im glad to see her changing her ways. just like u used to want a kitted bling bling civic, but i grew up. shes growing up too.

please to the owner of that dsm take the wing off: spare a dsm, destroy a honda instead. LOL w/e. i respect any girl that atleast knows what theyre driving and goes beyond the stereotype of "a car is a car" and doesnt let the mechanics SCREW them over. i also respect guys that will cook or clean and the guys who dont call him ###! not everybody needs to race either. cars are like everything, people get them if they can afford them and mod them to their liking and people either agree or disagree with what they did, but its all the owners decision.

I'm down. :thumb:

This is all I have to say if you want to change that club or whatever girlie girl racing is why don't you join it and do opposite of what they are doing? That way when an actual drooling car guy is looking through it and seeing all these chicks with riced out cars and sees you on your car with the specs he will *** himself. If girls want that much attention to show what many guys helped them buy then let that be their perogative (sp?) Ok I am done...

I personally think it's stupid to make sure everyone knows your "hot" car is driven by a girl. That "I am woman, hear me roar" shit is asking for attention in my personal opinion. Sure, there are some females out there that know their stuff about cars, but for the most part....it's a negative. Lots are like "yeah, so I got a shiny muffler tip today".

I have never sported GirlieGirlRacing.....but I have, however, checked out dsmfemme.com. The site.....so-so....I just don't see what the point is. Plus, for obvious reasons, it isn't nearly as active or helpful. It'll always be dsmtuners.com and team-trinity for me.:dsm:

There's a kid around here with a sticker on the side of his car that says "Girlie Girl Chasing" and i think its great... its a golf 1.8t and its pretty quick, but i think its funny to have that sticker... LOL.
