I ran a 50 trim before and my stock fans fit perfect, but now I got a new one which is a lot bigger not sure the exact trim size, but my passenger side fan won't fit. I can fit my driver side fan (ac fan) in the other one's place and the plugs are a perfect match.

Would this be ok to run for a while until I can find a set of really slim fans?

Also would before I drive it around to much would the other fan be able to flow enough to stop it from overheating in traffic?

Anyone know any place that sells fans that are a considerable size smaller then stock?

I would rather run this set up than run without a fan until I can find a new set, but I really need my car running, it's been about 3 weeks waiting for the new turbo to arrive. :thumbdown

Thanks in advance for any help.

install the fan however you have to. as long as you dont overheat, who cares then?

You could even install just the a/c fan, run your heater/blower on cold and on the first setting, aim it on the floor, and your fan will always be on. This way you dont blow hot air thru the cabin and melt to death during the day time. Thats what i did in my car for like a whole summer. :thumb:

Well I have it hooked up on the passenger side so it will turn on when the other fan would. Am I correct in thinking that they are inter-usable?

your passenger side fan is fine to drive around. Just don't use your a/c until you can get a slim fan in there on the drivers side.

My friend runs a FP Green and only has the stock passenger side fan on, he doesn't overheat.

Well you see I have the ac fan on the passenger side. I am just wondering if its compatable because the stock passenger side fan wont fit so I put the ac one in its place.
