dsmlink v3 help in SD

anybody here in the san diego area own a dsm link v3? i just bought mine bnew from ecmlink, and i couldnt get my laptop to connect ot the port, so i just want to test any 2g eclipse if the problem is the cable itself or my car. thanks

Maybe you can bring your stuff to my house. I'm in the same boat.

Unfortunately my car can not be driven right now.

I have V3 in my 2g and it worked fine with no problems.... Where are you at?
