Has anyone had them do any work? they are like a mile down the road and im considering taking my car there for minor installs

They are great. James is a real straight forward guy and is killer when it comes to tuning 4g63's.

taking your DSM there to be dyno'd is one thing but minor installs is another... you've got a HUGE! knowledge base and really really nice DSM'rs down here in san diego that are always willing to get their hands greasy under someone elses hood. you name it we've done it atleast once, your call though... do you want to spend $200 on parts + $200 on an install or $200 on parts + $15 bucks on an 18 rack of coors lights and friends that will always help fix your car. we might even know somebody that can help tune your car once you've got the right mods? reese tuning is good but most of us keep it in our own garage for installs and maintenance...

Well of course i would much rather do that, but im knew to the area and dont have any of my own tools, and it seems strange being like....hey you wanna help me swap my turbo....when i barely know the person.....im always down for meets, i used to organize that stuff all the time back home....looking forward to one

Hey just wanted to remind you guys about Dynomyte tunning specials DynoMiteTuning.com
they have the best prices in SD from what i know except offer no tunning services, just renting of their dyno. Also it would only accomidate FWD or RWD vehicles as their dynomometer is set up that way. I think they are in the process of relocating to Santee for a bigger place so if anyone has info on that let us know. I know most of us, like sonic, that need some tunning. Reese tunning would be good for those who would want aid in tunning and Dynomyte for us who have some tuning knowledge, have an interface to work with and are either fwd/rwd.

I can help you with most of the stuff you might need. I have parts and am a professional tuner as well. Like someone had mentioned...even if you're new we'd be happy to help you. DSM Link/ AEM EMS piggybacks etc..it's no problem.

All I have is a afc2 with 680s and a aem wideband (still needs to be installed). I've been meaning to get to it all but haven't had time to install the stuff, need to find someone with a welder for the sensor. If you want pm me a price and what all you can do for me

Hey wassup SD! I'm from NorCal but will be going down to the SD area for work. I need a tune bad and just don't have time to get it done before I leave on monday so a group dyne session like Goodbuds suggested would be awesome!

Yep. I doubt he gets that joke since hes from NorCal but definitely don't want to do dyno days at Reese. Back in May I believe it was, he pulled out an automatic machine gun and was waving it around when things weren't going his way. I'm assuming alcohol was the main cause of the shit that went down but he let a Corvette enter the competition and it won high horsepower, Reese didn't want to pay him the $50 so he pulled out the weapons.

If your down here trying to get your car tuned go to Road Race and talk to Sam.

Damn. I'd love to go up there but unfortunately the girl only gives me one trip to Road Race every few months and I was there in December. Everytime I've gone up there on a Friday I've never left earlier than 4 a.m. just so you know, I've pulled all nighters there until 6 a.m. which is crazy!
