I am looking for a good shop to take my car to. I live in Rock Springs WY. I know I will have to travel to get good Mitsu work done, just looking for suggestions.

Names and places of the shops would be great!

I need my timing belt replaced, axles gone over, brakes done, fuel/air adjusted, and a serious oil leak stopped. May even need a new waste gate...

I don't really want to go to Salt Lake city if I can avoid it. WY or CO would be preferred due to tax reasons.

Thanks for any help.

Jacks Transmissions is a paying vendor and I post a lot here. We are located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Jacks Transmissions LLC — Welcome

We have had people as far as Alaska drive their cars to us for repairs. Another is shipping his car from Australia, but we didn't get it yet, so I can't say we worked on it yet. If scheduled enough in advance we can set up an appointment and have the car fixed and done quickly if you are going to stay in Colorado for a day or two. We have a huge inventory, so any normal maintenance issues can be knocked out quickly as everything is in stock. We also do trannies from people all over the World. Oddest trans order was from the Middle East.

We have had a large number of people bring their EVOs to us from WY as well. Appears that there isn't much out there for service centers, so we are used to working on cars from out of State.

Jacks is absolutly the only shop I take my stuff to. If there ever is a problem with something that he has worked on for any of our cars Jack takes care of us! By the way Jack. This new Trans. is working out awsome! I cannot wait to pick the engine up. Thanks again bro. .

Well I will definitely check you guys out. Thanks for the info.:hellyeah: More than likely I will be contacting you in about 3 weeks. :thumb:

It is a 6.5 hour drive though... Not sure I can travel that far with the oil leak I have, and towing is out of the question. I will see what I can do.
