Road course event in Hastings, Nebraska
Not sure it's worth posting here, but... Just in case we have some folks in the area that might want to try out the brand new track in Hastings, there's an event coming up. Here's the URL for the race track site:
http://www.racemph.com/
Here's the link to register for the event:
https://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_e.../?event_id=348
More info on the event:
http://www.nasarockymountain.com/nas...splay.php?f=18
Wish I could go but the car isn't quite put back together yet.

That track is sick!!! I really want to go, just really far and I'm scared of breaking something.

No I can't make it to this one. The car isn't really track ready right now. I need brake pads, tires, and still haven't done the things necessary to lower my coolant temps. We don't have any money to board the dogs so my wife would have to stay home alone. I'm trying not to leave her alone being 4 months pregnant if I can help it. I just have too many things working against me on this one. I'm really planning on making the long distance events next season (Miller and Hastings). I would really like a trailer for the car for those trips but we'll see.

Sorry to hear you won't make it. I guess I'll be the only DSM there. Wish I had more power to better represent DSM even if is only HPDE 1.
Congratulations to you and your wife on being parents or soon to be.
You're doing the right thing to stay with her.

Hey thanks, Brian. How much room do you have?
Now all I have to do is remember your offer over the next several months.
What is KRP NHRA king of the track?

If nothing else Brian, I'll have to stop by on the way out there next season to say hi.

Tied for 2nd overall. It was a come from behind thing with my car being broke down for two races, one more round and I would have placed 1st but unfortunately that didn't happen.

I should get around $300, and I collected a ton of trophies this year. Is by chance this your car? http://public.fotki.com/jdoctor/moto...y/dsc2610.html

Looks like the next Hastings event will be in June (23-24). Hopefully I'll be able to make it this time!

I'll be there to watch for sure. I'm too chicken to go around corners.
