Reliable Automotive Paint Shops in the Denver/Metro area

Hey guys, since I have been down in the area interviewing for jobs, my father had suggested I look around and get my car painted. Only problem is I don't know of any other paint shops than Maaco (quoted around 1400 even though the guy said it probably wouldn't be up to my expectations ).

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had good/bad experiences with paint shops in the denver/metro/boulder/csprings area. Basically all I want is a near OEM paint job with NO color change (going to keep it black), no engine bay, no door jams. I am looking for a reliable place that will take it from start to finish, meaning they do the body work, prep, paint, wet sand, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to remove the 'cancer' that has struck my car's paint. Thanks!

Oh yeah, and as soon as I get a job I'd be looking to spend 1500-2000 if possible.

Applewood Autobody. Over near I-70 and Youngsfield. Did all the prep work myself. Sprayed just the outside of the car for $250. Great job. A true flat black.

Have you contacted any of them or got your car painted by now?

FULL paint jobs from a quality shop cost in the $7-8K range. For what you are looking to spend, Maaco is more than likely your only option, but it is true that it will probably not be up to your expectations.

That is true Mitch. I was just looking for a uniform color. I just made sure to prep the car myself. But applewood came through and was very professional. Great shop to deal with.
