I was looking into a few sets of wheels that work with my 1990. I'm having a hard time tracking down the team dynamics. I saw 5zigen had a 17x10 Et 25. Sounds about right to me as far as set up. Is that correct? Any other options? Thanks
Shane

They also have a 17/ 9.5 with a 22 off set.

I would stick with 17 X 9 max and maybe try an MB Motoring 7 spoke from Discount Tire Direct. Forget the name of it but it's a 27 offset.

Unless you're super competitive in a Time Attack Series and making 600 HP a 17 X 10 inch wheel with rubber to fit is way too big.......

Well I am looking to make 600whp and this is a race car build. Little to no street duty. I'm sure I'm going to have to turn the power down for heat or different courses. (that will be determined later) But I want to find some good options in wheels. I have to have 17's because of my breaks. And I have JIC coils so i have a bit more room.

So you don't think the 17/ 9.5 is good with a 22 offset?

Here is a picture of a 9.5" wide +22mm offset wheel with a 245 tire on my 1G:

(The wheel is off a 350Z that I was using to check fitment before ordering new wheels.) It sticks out past the fender about 1". It could work with a little camber or a little higher ride height. It's also going to depend on the tire size you go with. I ended up going with a 9" wide wheel and a 38mm offset.

That looks good to me. The sticking out part is ok. I'm going to have body work done in the last stage of my build. Roll cage this week. So far 9.5 wide with a 22offset seems to be the one.
