auto rs vs 5speed rs

if a automatic eclipse rs has a highstall torque converter could it take a 5-speed rs in the 1/4mile?Seeing as how a 5-speed is around 1/2 sec faster would the high stall torque converter make it just as fast or faster than a 5-speed?
