TSI-AWD vs HRC Stage 2 Auto

ALright, i have a friend who has a bone stock 1996 TSI-AWD talon. I have a 1995 RS, we have raced before for the hell of it, and it wasnt pretty, he won pretty bad. Im getting a HRC stage 2 turbo this summer and i wanted to know what my chances were with my auto tranny vs his manual considering hes a pretty good driver...could i keep up?

Forget about it? I dont think your auto will spool the 16g as fast as his t28 plus AWD....
I own a 1g so I may be wrong but I say no. It will be close tho.....
