So, it was recommended to me that during my next track day I record a log from my AEM and plot a histogram of my RPM while I'm on the throttle. Here is what it looks like with throttle position greater than 40%:

Now, being that my car is making the most power around 7800 RPM, I should try to tune for the area that I'm spending the most of my time in...~5400. My car currently has a Magnus SMIM, a DSS Griffin core IC, HKS 272's and an AGP L2R 50 trim...with all of the supporting mods. My question is, is it even possible to move the power band that far to the left with these components? Should I ditch the SMIM and go back to stock with a smaller cam and turbo? Or should I just try and tune the area's in the midrange by adjusting the cam sprockets?

Just so you know i make peak power that about 5500rpm on my E316G. HKS264/272, stock IM.

*edit* sorry that wasn't that helpful but i had to get to bed. Anywho i haven't dyno'd the car but i have run a best of 11.7@120, i would est. 360-370 dynojet whp.
I basically beat anything that makes 400whp on a dynojet, so LS2 stuff, even nitrous mustangs, stock 05 viper.
Hope that helps. i usually shift at 6600rpm to stay in the power band on the strip.
