Seeing as how I am the only car in TTR for the NASA event at Iowa Speedway, as long as I do one timed lap on Saturday and Sunday, Mr Never on Sunday can win the class both days.

With my luck, Ron Adee will show up in his Viper at the last minute and blow my doors off, but for the moment it looks good. Shoot, I'll take any win, even a default. Looks good on the resume.

Not only am I the only car in TTR, I am the only DSM!

There might be some DSMs running HPDE, but they don't publish the HPDE entry list, so I don't know.

Here's what it looks like behind the wheel (an M3, I think):

We are planning to set the car up for turning left: We'll maximize negative camber on the right front, stand up the left front (zero camber), raise up the right rear, and run lower tire pressures on the left side.

I sure wish some of youse guys would come to run TT or HPDE. It's lonely out there, being the only DSM. Where are all the Midwest DSM racers?

Well I was thinking about heading to this event but I am having surgery to remove a ganglion cyst. Get it removed now before I get to deep into the season. The first (ever) NASA event for me looks like June 30, July 1st weekend. Good luck down at Iowa Speedway.

That layout looks like a hoot and that bank looks intense. We only get to use the front straight of the oval out here.

Hmm...15 hour drive, maybe I'll come up and play in the fall sometime. Who knows we may even get a DSM race day by then.

hey Slow old poop were you 63 or 68 or something like that? If you are, I have vid of you running today. ;)

Did you happen to see that 90 white GSX run too?

You shouda come down to visit. Entry was free--you just had to say you were my crew.

The white DSM is an ex-rally driver, like me, so we got along great.

Looks nice not a cloud in the sky hope you ran good.

Full report coming. In short, I won TTR both days, had a good day, a bad day, broke the car, and ran with "the big boys." Mr Never on Sunday hooked up and was AWESOME.

It was a gorgeous day. I got a good sun burn.

Yea I woulda loved to come down but I didnt know your name. Never really been to a NASA event before so I figured I would check it out and see how they run!

I got a vid... Ill try to make it smaller and host it on Photobucket. You ran a great line! :thumb:
