Chasing Mustangs

My buddy Brent took these photos of Mr Never on Sunday at Mid America Motorplex chasing down some 5.0 Mustangs, just in case anyone wondered how our cars do against 5.0 Slows. I am the blue car, and all this took just one lap. The yellow car in front is a turbo RX7 that ran TTU and TTR last year and now is in some ST race class.

Are you coming down to the NASA event at Iowa Speedway? Is anybody? Last time I looked, I was the only DSM. They don't list HPDE cars in the entry list, so I dunno if anybody else is running this weekend. Crikies, I am in TTR! Hoo boy!

Well, yeah (*blush*). And his buddy in the black RX7.
I couldn't catch and pass them, but I stayed on their tails. On the other hand, it was a cold track, and their Hoosiers weren't hooking up.

Sorry to hear about yer troubles. None of my DSM buddies are coming to Iowa Speedway, it seems.

You know, D.Dl.H. runs low .30's/high .20's @ R.A. (if memory serves). Can't wait to see that weekend. Are you bringing Hoosiers?

All the little "maintenence items" turned into overkill upgrades is all that meant. DSM-disorder I think it's called.

I won't be getting a bigger truck & a trailer for about 2 years, and pushing a broken Talon home from the middle of Iowa sounds, well, unappealing, so even if blackcar were on all fours, I couldn't risk a 1 way trip.

no, I still have quite a few things to finish on the GSX before I can race it, Or I have to find a 6 bolt turbo fwd flywheel and swap trannys before I can do any kind of racing with my GST. (clutch slipped like a SOB under any boost at RA)
