Red Line Time Attack

I have been fired up about trying to make it to one of thies events this year, I have had no luck trying to find some other people to attend with me. Seems like the DSM community here in the mid Atlantic only care about running on the 1320. I know you west cost guy's have more track day's for this event, but I never hear anything about them? Seems like a cheap day! $175 per day or $325 for the weekend. The next event in on December 2 & 3rd at Button Willow, some on should go check it out and report back

When I get back Home to Colorado next year, I hope to see more events like this! Now all of our tracks are closed or closing it's gong to be Miller Motorsports Park or Back to good old Heartland Park in KS both are a good 9-10 hour drive with the trailer. If one of you guy's have run this event please post replyes on your experiance.

Hey Brian, not to worry - there are some good things coming to the RM region for us road course guys.

Not to mention that a new track just opened in Nebraska - still a good 6-7 hour drive, but it's a brand new club track and I heard from some fellow NASA members that the track is a blast and the surface is simply amazing - really easy on your tires. I wish I could have made the event this past weekend - next year for sure.

Send me a note when you get back to town - I'm dying to find some road course/autoX DSMers around here. It's such a drag that everyone here in the region is sooooo stuck on 1320 times (pun intended).

The track just opened a couple months ago and the Rocky Mountain NASA region just had their first event there this past weekend. You might want to check this link:

No, I still haven't got the wheels yet from Mitch. And I don't have any cash for tires right now. So, hopefully over the winter. I'm planning on getting the car seriously set up for Time Trials next year.

I'll be back on Monday the 9th for a week to do some work for a client (I'm a co-owner or Ram Painting LLC) I'm not moving back intill next spring, I moved away to see what it would be like living in the South
