i highly recommend a wide angle, small remote cam that can easily be positioned high up, on side of car, etc. another good learning tool for racing.

i hit a cone somewhere tho

done w/ my new 380 line remote cam & mic (chasecam.com) fed to my camcorder. note i chose the AA batt pack ### i use the cig lighter for the traqmate. cam was jury-rig-mounted on inside mirror. will try suction mount outside the car next time.

Great video... and great drive:thumb: Man that was a long-ass course! I can't tell you how many times I've seen guys spin their wheels on the start of their runs. Yours was textbook perfect.

Very impressive!

:rocks:

man I'd kill for a course as long as that.

What class do you run in? SM? Car looked very flat through there.

Edit: durr, it's in your sig.

Car looks like a killer little stx ride:thumb:

Thanks! Actually I didn't launch as normal (at ~4000) since the timing start beam was located at the first turn, a sharp right that can't be taken fast anyway. I launched from idle =).

The 2g can be decent in stx, but is totally outgunned by stx legal ~300bhp wrx's (not sti) and outhandled by the e36 bmw 328 w/ stx legal lsd.

That's why i recently got a 2nd car: 95 m3; it should be more competitive, but in stu (a class up from stx).

Our STU class is very tough here, lots of STi's, Evo, RX8. It suddenly became a big class here this year. I thought some of the STi's and the Evo might move to BSP, but they all decied to run together in STU.
I'm just glad to be out of SM, lots of high dollar cars and there's always 15+ cars there.
