good video i never thought that a eagle talon would be good enough to road race in. i may have to look to doing some modifactions myself on my car. by the way do you have a TRE-spec Center differential spool?

I was looking at your vechile profile it didn't say much about the work you have done to your tranny. if you don't mind can you pm the work youve done to your transmission and related parts. you have to complement them. i have a 1990 eagle talon.

Thanks for looking at the video...

The tranny is not my expertise, so I left it all up to John Shepherd. I do know it was the most expensive tranny he's ever built. I'm running a Kaas LSD that has performed flawlessly. As a matter of fact, we cracked the tranny open at the end of last race season and were amazed at what beautiful shape it was in. John Shepherd is the best in my book!!

Would it be possible for you to find out what lockup specifications you have the KAAZ set at? Most people complain that the KAAZ is too quick to lockup in corners so most fwd'ers go with the Quaife. After doing some research I'd much rather run the KAAZ (mainly for price though) and I believe alot of these guys have their clutch packs adjusted too tightly. Any info would be great.

He's FWD - no center differential.

It was a combination of Mike Welch from RRE and John Shepherd who recommended the KAAS, that's what both John and Mike run in their race cars. They said the KAAS is a little higher maintenance but has much better response then the Quaif.
As far as the lockup specifications on my particular unit you'll have to as Shepherd. He's a real good guy and would be more than happy share that information I'm sure.

When I get closer to picking one up I'll make sure and ask.

Apparently people don't realize that you can't buy an awd laser with popups as they didn't get the awd models until the 92 model year makeover.
