Just as the subject says, my stock oil pressure gauge needle rests past the H point when the car is off. Then, when I turn the car on, it slowly moves all the way to the left and rests at the furthest left mark at L. it stays there all the time (no matter what RPMS), and then moves back all the way to the right when the car is off. What's up with that?

I worked on the sender wiring assembly two years ago, so I suppose it could be that again. I'll check it out, thanks.

if the senders is busted am i still gonna have oil circulating, also will that cause the turbo not to spool up?

if so how much is the sender and do i have to get it from the dealership?

and also, will the ecu read it the same, since i have the air cooled oil cooler, as apposed to the water cooler

A broken sender only affects the gauge, I think. It shouldn't have a negative affect at all on the turbo. Hey, when I grounded the wire at the sender, the oil light would turn on, but it would not change the results of the gauge.

The oil's still doing fine, the sender just taps to the oil galley and feels the pressure. Make sure your idiot light is still working.

im not showing any oil light at all, or anything like that, it just does what PhoenixRPR is doing
