Alright well the other day i was going down the road and i came up to a newer model GT and he wanted to run em so i did. i wooped his ass but i wasnt boosting like normal( kinda laggy). after the race i smelled something that smelled like burnt clutch but i didnt pull over till i got home. i popped the hood and my dipstick was out like 2 inches and i had oil all over my valve cover, power steering pump, alternator!!!!!, and fan. i wiped it up and i pushed the dipstick back in and luckely i didnt burn out my alternator. What could this be. i asked someone and they said i might have to rebuild my whole motor!!! is this true?

please respond if you have had this occur or are currently

thanks
Mike

ANY time you smell, hear, or feel something, STOP AND CHECK IT. Don't drive another fifty feet.

You lucked out. Another fellow just burned his car that way.

alright guys thanks for the reply's but my "huge problem" turned out to be just really stupid. i brought my car to a performance shop and it seems that they can do just about anything to make your car faster but they arent so good at changing oil. today i went out and just out of curiosity i wanted to check my oil level to see how much i lost and it turned out i had TOO MUCH!! after a little while i ended up taking out about a quart of oil and now everything is fine. my dipstick doesnt pop out any more. pretty stupid
