Ok, well I took my head to the machine shop. When I took it there the little dow were where they should be lined up. When I got it back the one closest to the front was in a different position. When I put the new timing belt on i readjusted the cam one tooth forward hoping that the timing was just off. Well, does anyone kow what I should do? Should I wake the cam off and readdjust it? I'm really in a crunch guys. Thanks.

Why are you taking the cams off. you should be taking the hydrolic tensioner off. I've found this the easiest way to set a timing belt. put in on as close as you can get it with all the lower timing marks in the corret postition. Usually everytime I put a timing belt on I have to readjust the came gears. Now take some white out and mark it on every gear and on the timing belt it self. Now with the lower ones alligned(the easy ones to alighn) Mark the cam gears in a specific spot and then mark the belt touching it wher the mark you made on it needs to line up so that the cams will be in the correct postion. now uninstall your belt. take your hydolic tensioner off and conpressi it now line all four main belt gears up using your white marks.

I used to take the belt of 4-5 times. Now I can do it in two times every single time. Peace of cake.

Make sure you torq down all your gears and pulleys to speck especially your cam gears.

Well, I had a valve job done and had the head hot tanked and stuff. But when they put the cam gears back on the weren't in the same position that they were when I took them off, but i was told that they can only go on one way. So that was my question. Thanks for the info on the belt.
