I have a rebuilt 90 gst ecu and my 90 tsi awd ecu has a small burn spot on the board, so is there anything I can do to use the gst(fwd) ecu on my awd, what would happen if I used the gst ecu on the awd? They are both 5 speeds.

Yup yup . . . they're interchangeable. Only difference I can think about is the GST ECU will probably have the speed governor enabled . . .
