Somebody please help me with the boost leak test!

I am trying to do a boost leak cuz my car sucks ass right now and I can't even go over 45 so I think I'm missing a hose or something, . Anyway, I removed the MAS and the intake and hooked up my lil tube w/ a air valve stem onto the turbo. I pump air into it (25 pumps or so) and i have no pressure at all in the system. Is there something I need to block off to keep the air from coming out so it will stay in the system or am i f0cked and have to find my big ass problem?

-Are you using a hand/bike pump? it's better you borrow/rent a air compressor and a long air hose, very difficult to keep the pressure up with a hand pump if you have a leak.
