okay, so i was putting the tranny back on the engine today before we throw it back in the car. I found a ziploc bag labeled "tranny gasket" with two small (10mm head) gold bolts in it. I have absolutely no idea where they go. the little piece on the bottom between the engine and trans has its bolts already.

Im pretty sure the actual gasket for the trans doesn't have bolts, but correct me if im wrong.

Any idea what they are. (i know i know, im the one who labeled them)

welli really just want to be sure i didn't leave anything out. i figure the bolts might be in a the wrong bag.

I slid the large silver "gasket" onto the engine side once the flywheel and clutch were on. The I put the tranny on, basically. the little cover underneath is on.

really just want to make sure those bolts are in the wrong bag or something before i put the engine in. did i leave something out?

Take a flashlight and look for open holes. (on your car)

well what im really getting at is, the gasket is sitting on the engine, and the tranny is holding it on. there aren't any bolts that go inside there are there???? that doens't make much sense and i really don't want to take the tranny back off. but i will if thats where they go.

There are 2 bolts behind the flywheel that hold the dust shield to the block. Dont worry about it, I never put mine back in long ago when I did a clutch. They are just there to prevent any chance of the shield from rattling. Dont worry about them, everything will be fine. Hope this helps
