I'm in the process of buying a new motor from mitsuparts.com. it's the complete engine, i was just curious if anyone on here could tell me about how much i should be paying to have my old motor pulled out and this new one dropped in. thanks

grow some balls and do it your self its not that hard really just take your time for the price you pay you could buy every single tool you needed and enough left over to buy a 24 pack of bud

I dunno I think it would be very complicated for me to take out an engine and put anouther one pack in...I feel like I would screw somthing up..and if a mecanic screwed something up then I could #(&#$ them out for messing it up...when )(#(*$ myself out doesn't help anything..anyways some shops around here will take out and engine and put one in for about 800 to 1,200 dollars...

Id do it for 500$ LOL too bad your so far away.
its not complicated at all.
if you dont mind spending the money then let somone else do it.

but if you plan on being a dsmer and going into tuning, it would be VERY benificial to do the swap yourself, you would learn alot.

I did a JDM swap and i didnt know shit about them.

I put each bolt in a bag and labeled where it came from.
labeled every hose.

fairly simple.

hes very right you will learn a crap load with this and its worth it in its self to learn if you just take you time read your manuel like a bible youl be fine

I would say go rent a engine pull and swap the motor yourself. The only complication I think you would run in to is with recover and recharge of you A/C system.
