cant remove the front bumper??? :(

need to repaint my stock 97 GS-T bumper but cant get it off. Their are four screws under the front head lights, but they will not come out. Has anyone replaced the headlights or bumper, i need a clue on where to go next.

Yeah, those are a pain to get out and they aren't screws. You will need to get a flat blad screw driver underneath and pry it up.

thanks the day light helps, anyway i got the two outside ones off, but i am still working on the inner ones, thats for the info, helped a lot.

?????????????How about unbolting the whole bumper unit first. There are two grade 8 bolts on each side that will release the entire front bumper once you have the piece that fixes to the hood release and inner fenders on both sides completely unbolted. You can then get to the plastic screws you are talking about. If you jack the car up and look next to the intercooler looking up into the car you will see the bolts I speak of. They are 14 mm in head size. I hope that helps.
