ok so im installing my walbro 190, and one of the 6 studs that attaches the fuel pump assembly to the tank snapped ( i torqued it too much :thumbdown ). i am running un-tuned right now and under wot, it is rich up until about 6300 rpm and then between there and redline, it runs lean and i get TONS OF KNOCK!
I am begining to think that there is a leak of presure in the fuel tank, which is making it so that in the upper rpms, fuel is struggling to get into the combustion chamber. it feels similar to a misfire, but im almost 100% positive that that is not the problem.
let me know what you guys think!
