Newbie Car Problem [blown clutch]

Ok, I just got my first DSM a week ago.. I love it so much, except now it is starting to act funny.

I noticed that suddenly (tonight), I would apply pressure to the gas and my RPM's would shoot up high, and I wouldn't have any pull, then slowly they would go down a bit and the pull would be there like it normally does..

and then today, I took a right turn on my way home and I tried to shift out of neutral and I couldn't get into any gears at all.. so I turned the car off wondering wth, and restarted it.. with a little more force than usual I got it into first and got it home..

I am really worried, and I know very little about car (though I can tell that owning a DSM will expand my mind quiet a bit)..

anyways, can anyone help me?

Your problem might be a worn clutch. You are kind of showing signs of a worn out pressure plate.

You will be a expert with mechanics by the time you get done with that one.

Definitly a bad clutch. If you keep driving with a bad clutch it will ruin the flywheel as well.

And that mind quiet is going to get lots louder when you pay for that clutch replacement.

Definatey a bad clutch. The face of the disc is probably worn out. Don't drive it anymore though. These guys have already solved this problem with mine before I knew what was goin' on.
