I just got my new(used) ISC installed...the ISC checks out ok on measuring resistances...but when the key is turned to on(engine off), the ISCmotor just buzzes and twitches, the pintle does not move in or out smoothly.... someone said this happened when their ECU was dying or leaking caps...I hope thats not the problem...anyone else have an opinion? Ugh.... :barf:

Why dont you just take out the ECU and have a look and sniff yourself? Easy to do, maybe 15 minutes. You can know for sure that way. :thumb:

alrighty, will do. Ill have to do it later, im getting burnt out on all this....blah! Me and my twitching ISC....

u can smell leaking caps cuase they reek as hell, and if its bad it iwll have orange shit on the board. If ur lucky the vfaq man can save your board. the junkyard places will charge u like 200$ Good luck.

Alrighty, good news. The board looked ok. :thumb: Yippe!! And something else just blew my mind....the ISC motor is now working for no apparent reason.....it moves the pintle in/out perfectly. Too bad it didnt fix my idle, but there is one small victory LOL!
