How do i check for boost leak?

I was wondering how i test for boost leak, my car feels like it has a massive pull and then feels like it winds off around 4,300-4,500 RPM, i checked the turbo and there wasn't any play...Anyone have any idea what could be causing the power wind off..?

Yes its your turbo. The stock turbo's on the 2g's are crap and fall off around 5k because they are so tiny.

To check for boost leaks you have to build a tester. Here is a link located along with a good amount of other info at www.vfaq.com.
