wierd sound from turbo?

ok guy i don't know if this is normal but when i bought the car every time the turbo is spooling up it makes a wierd hollow like whining sound not like the bov or any thing just hard to explan i mean i can't think of anything just a hollow sound thanks later.sorry if confusing

Sounds like your turbo is on its last leg. Pull the intake hose off and check for shaft play. Also check for oil on the inside of the intake. Does it blow smoke?

there is no smoke but i will check for shaft play. i am getting a big16g and a fmic really soon like a month or so i am not to worried if it is shaft play. thanks man i will check and let you know. later
