well i got the 14b in and running much to my surprise
no leaks, just lots of wd 40 and anti-sieze burning off. the problem is this, my air/fuel gauge is not working properly.. its reading 1 block red and it will flicker and turn very bright, rarely moving to 2 blocks red. does the ecu need to reset longer? like a spin on the highway? i have had the car down for abou ta week now working an hour a day on it. i just dont want to drive it around and have it be lean... i dont have the pump rewired yet, it is getting done though. thanks for the input, anything would help. idle seems fine, and for vacuum at idle i'm getting ~14 pounds, is that seem correct for the 14b? on a 2g. on the test drive, very brief test drive, i went to ~8 pounds just to make sure that it was making boost, so i know its boosting and i have my hallman at the lowest settiing. tahnks again!

weird, I got a 95 with a 14B just put in, and the a/f meter is reading lean too. I had a bad O2 sensor in the O2 housing and replaced it last week, and reset the ECU, and theres no light on now, it just reads lean at every rpm, idle, WOT. It was cycling normal yesterday, but all of a sudden today. I'm at 15 psi with stock fuel system, no rewire (it was rich at WOT yesterday)

What can make the car run lean?? Anything I can check?

i just ordered my o2 sensor from oxygensensors.com.. hopefuly be in on monday/tuesday i hate seeing it say lean. why are you running 15psi on not even a rewire? i think that may be a little too much.

15 psi isn't a lot. I was running rich at full throttle for a week at 15 psi. When I tried 16-17psi I got fuel cut occasionally (when I was first trying to set the boost) but never at 15.

Now somethings just screwed up with either the NEW oxygen sensor I bought, or my a/f meter, but I doubt the meter can get screwed up, wouldn't it just not light up at all, if the signal wire came undone?

same, I put a Mitsu O2 in today and it reads normal, it seems that the universal one wasn't a wide band sensor:rolleyes: can't trust parts stores anymore.
