removing my cruise control but now stuck need easy help

was up guys i just got my non cruise wire today (one from t/b to pedal). now i know i have to hook this up but what else do i have to do to pull all the cruise control stuf. such as un bolt the thing on the strut, and the wire that goes to the control box. but what about the little box under that thing on the strut where a wire goes to can i just pull this or do i have to do something to thinks
