We just got a act2100 installed on my freinds 1996 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. The clutch grabs good, but it rebounds waaay too much after releasing it. How do you adjust that, so it doesn't come back up as far?

Thanks Ben :dsm: :talon:

I bet I confused people when describing this, so I made this in paint to show what I mean, the pedal comes back too far when you let it off:

There should be a pedal stop adjustment described in your manual, other than that the choices get rather slim. Make sure it's been bled properly for that can cause a mushy feeling. The pedal height will change as the disk wears and seats but if you still find it continues to release in the wrong place you should discuss it with the installer.

Cheers,
GTM

You can adjust as mentioned above; but be careful, if the pedal is too low you will not be able to get full engagement and disengagement of the clutch. IMO, aftermarket clutches require the full pedal travel within acceptable pedal travel parameters for the manipulation of the heavier spring load.
