Clutch Dead?

Hey guys, while driving on the highway tonight my friend's Accord tried to pass me on the left, of course having a GST I wasn't going to let that happen, downshifted and hit the gas....heres where the problem comes in...I let the clutch out all the way and when i hit the gas the RPM's rose while the speed did not (clutch slipping?) so I let off the gas and shifted up to 5th...went about 60mph. Then as a test I floored the car, around 3000rpm it did the same thing, the clutch just seemed to let go as the RPM's rose and the speed didn't really go anywhere (more or less like revving out of gear) -- So my question is: Is it time for an ACT 2100? It's probably time if you plan on doing that sort of thing much more. If you just keep driving and don't wallop it, that clutch may have another year in it.

Yeah, Like Defiant said, as long as you dont boost at all it wont be wearing the clutch anymore, therefore allowing you some time before its cached.
