How exactly would I go about spinning the intake side of the turbo, so the outlet points more towards the radiator. The turbo is a garret 50-trim turbo by AGP in their kit. The outlet is pointing at the engine mount and the intercooler pipe is hitting. Any help with what bolts to loosen, and the procedure on turning it would be VERY helpful.

Thanks for your time.

well, not sure about your turbo, but for the mitsu there is a large snap ring like piece that holes it all together. like a round this metal ring, with a space cutout and the ends have little holes.

from looking it looks like it could spin just by pulling on it.
cause if you pop out the ring, it would be a pain to get it back on, with the turbo attached.

i think lord is right. that snap ring on the mitsu turbo should be able to be loosened a little and you might be able to turn it. DEFINITELY dont let it come off because it would be a PAIN to get back on with the turbo still attached!

I believe its called a band clamp if you want to get technical..:thumb:

Dont really know if its possible to spin the housing itself or not. Never had a 50 trim apart. I think AGP sells a 90 degree IC pipe elbow just for that reason though. Could be a different vendor than AGP but I know somebody sells one. LOL
