Okay I don't have any clue as to whats going on with my boost. it one day I went to lower it from 17 to make it like 13. For awhile before this I havent been paying attention to my boost because I wasn't pushing itor racing it I was doing casual every day driving. Wen i went to lower I backed the screw out all the way as much as possible to set it to 10 as a reference point then inch it in little by little and checking it til I got it at 13. But when Iwent for my wide open throttle to check my boost it kept going well past 10 continueing till it hit 20 I let off the throttle at that time fearing to blow my new motor. I ran the car with outthe MBC it ran the same I hooked the wast gate directly to the boost source stillran the same nothing changes it. I don't think its the boost controller either. any ideas?

Im thinking a bad waste gate thats stuck closed

Does a waste gate work off of vacumn or boost?

have you tried to hook up your stock boost controller the solinod thing. See if it still hits 20. Does it creep to 20 or just shoot stright to it? My friends car would creep up to 14-15 psi when he put on his 3" turbo back, what size is your exhaust maybe it is just flowing to much to boost that low.

I have a 3 inch catback and a gutted cat but I have had them for a while now this is a recent development. it just jumps from 15 to 21and it jumps from 10 to 15 and from 5 to 10 . i used to have it at 17 lbs and it was at that for a while and know I can set the boost controller as low as it will go and that is 10 lbs and it still runs 20. so I ran a vac line from the nipple on the turbo elbow to the wastegate acutator. and it runs 15 lbs now. i was told on here that if you do that you should have crap for boost like 5-8 psi at the most if i run a vacline from any boost source directly to the wastegate acuator. im stumped thinking waste gate acuator is messed
